Tuesday poem #377 : Trish Salah : Hidden Sea
who are you? what?
welcome seems too easy
midnight makes announcements
in klaxon bestiary style
a blooding, a brood
riding in the grey
a grey instead of the dark
this is our parting
possible evolution—
a cold body affects calm
translations for the witness
descend like all winter
a lure of bedrooms
a blue so bottomless
the bottles though
our bottles are all emptied

Tuesday poem #376 : David Bradford : Pitch
I’d like
to like this blue bathtub
The echo
in it rung tired
of my filth
Is the conjugate animal
the
gallop that the mandible
can't hold or break
Even to wade
out blue
in the mend
blown out a silver shade
marbling
up the water
troubled
three alarm riser bowed
in a bellied heat
whole
empty
of what
blue fish may miss
the sea I wish
waiting out this slow
slow week clearly in August
a buzz with blue bells
could
blow the house
a few small feet east
into a different breeze
I just need
to keep changing
one more
thing it can’t
